“I enjoy to be at my home as I consider it my happy place. I love to do gardening. I can be hours dealing with dirt, pots, and seeds/plants. It is very relaxing and soothing for me. I like all types of plants and flowers. Last year I tried planting some vegetables, and I have been blessed with some good peppers and tomatoes. I enjoy watching movies and since in my household there are only men the movies I mostly watch are super heroes, Starwars, Avengers etc. I have learned to like and enjoy these movies after all. I also love to listen to music. I mostly listen to gospel music, but I also enjoy the music from my hispanic heritage.
God is my all. He is the center of my life. My faith is what keeps me going on a daily basis. I believe people learn more from your actions than from your words. I make sure my actions are telling others, especially to my students, who I am. I make sure they can see peace and Jesus’ love for them through me. My motto in life is God is on control. Nothing surprises God, He already knew the future because He is already there.
My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 40, and I love how it starts: ‘I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.’ He made me wait but he listened and changed my cry to songs of worship.”
