4th Grade Classroom Teacher 2022-2023


  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Teaching License
  • ACSI certification required within the first year of employment


  • Models a personal, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Creates a positive learning environment reflective of the love of Christ
  • Assesses the learning of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required
  • Effectively manages a classroom and students
  • Committed to forming personal relationships with students and families
  • Works cooperatively with team members
  • Represents the school in a favorable and professional manner to the constituency and general public
  • Follows established school policies, procedures and guidelines in a spirit of positive cooperation.
  • Integrates Biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum
  • Possesses proficient technology skills and willing to adapt to technology changes
  • Equipped to teach in an innovative, inquiry-based manner where students are challenged to think critically
  • Other duties as assigned as needed


  • Full-time permanent teachers are eligible to participate in group medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401 K program

Personal Days:

  • Full time permanent teachers receive one day personal time off for every completed month of service during the contract year, for a maximum of 10 days’
