Description

Position Summary
The K–8 Technology Teacher leads a comprehensive technology program focused on coding, robotics, engineering design, and digital creation. This role develops students’ proficiency in computational thinking, systems design, and iterative problem-solving while fostering creativity, collaboration, and responsible technology use.

Core Responsibilities
– Deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum
– Teach foundational computer science concepts
– Integrate project-based learning (PBL) aligned to STEM best practices
– Maintain and manage classroom hardware, software, and makerspace tools
– Organize and support extracurricular technology initiatives (e.g., robotics club, coding club, tech fairs)

Summit Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered leader to serve as Marketing & Communications Director. This role combines strategic marketing with clear, effective communication to strengthen the school’s brand, support enrollment growth, and engage families and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is both a skilled communicator and a results-oriented marketer—someone who can tell the story of Summit Christian Academy while helping more families discover and choose a Christ- centered education.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment Marketing & Advancement
– Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on student enrollment growth and retention
– Create campaigns to attract and engage prospective families (digital, print, events, and outreach)
– Partner with admissions to support the full enrollment process—from inquiry to enrollment
– Manage website, social media, and digital marketing with a focus on visibility and lead generation
– Track and evaluate marketing effectiveness (inquiries, tours, applications)

Communications (Internal & External)
– Oversee all school communications to families, faculty, and staff
– Manage newsletters, emails, and key school publications
– Ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging across all platforms

Business Manager

Position Overview
Summit Christian Academy is seeking a Christ-centered, highly capable Business Manager to lead and manage the school’s financial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on financial leader who can think strategically while also managing day-to-day accounting functions. The Business Manager will partner closely with the Head of School to ensure strong financial stewardship, accurate reporting, and long-term sustainability—all in alignment with the mission of Christian education.

School Nurse

Full-Time or Part Time | 12-Month Position

Position Overview
Summit Christian Academy is seeking a compassionate, organized, and Christ-centered School Nurse to support the health and well-being of our students and staff. This position (3–4 days per week) will be shared with another nurse, requiring strong communication and collaboration to ensure continuity of care. The School Nurse plays a vital role in promoting a safe and healthy school environment, managing student health needs, and responding to day-to-day medical situations with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities
Student Health & Care
– Provide basic medical care, first aid, and assessment for student illnesses and injuries
– Administer medications in accordance with school policy and physician instructions
– Monitor students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies)
– Maintain accurate and confidential student health records

Health Management & Compliance
– Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies
– Track and maintain immunization records and required health documentation
– Develop and implement individual health plans (IHPs) as needed
– Monitor and respond to communicable illnesses to help prevent outbreaks

Communication & Collaboration
– Communicate clearly with parents regarding student health concerns and incidents
– Partner with teachers, coaches, and staff to support student health needs
– Coordinate effectively with the job-share nurse to ensure seamless care and documentation
– Serve as a resource for health-related questions within the school community

Emergency Preparedness
– Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed
– Maintain and monitor first aid supplies, AEDs, and emergency equipment
– Assist in developing and implementing emergency response protocols

Qualifications

– Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas) required
– Previous pediatric, school, or clinical nursing experience preferred
