The Kindergarten Experience

At SCA, kindergarten is where students start their educational journey in a caring environment committed to quality education taught from a biblical worldview.

SCA is excited to come alongside students as they embark on their educational journey. The kindergarten experience provides the building blocks for academic learning and develops skills to equip children to be successful students and people. The kindergarten program includes teaching core subjects, including Bible.

  • Writing – Composition of thoughts into writen sentences (Inventive spelling is okay.)
  • Math – Addition, subtraction, measurement, calendar skills, simple word problems and more
  • Science – Cultivation of curiosity and engagement in the scientific process as weather, seasons, plants and animals are studied
  • Social Studies – Developing understanding of community, other countries and cultures, good citizenship and more
  • Bible – Learning the Word of God through Bible stories, acting out passages, scripture memory, and journaling
