Summit Christian Academy understands that Christian education is a significant financial commitment. Through our need-based Tuition Assistance Program, eligible families may receive assistance covering up to 50 percent of tuition costs.
Awards are based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of tuition assistance funds. Tuition assistance is not guaranteed, and families must reapply each school year.
Texas Education Freedom Accounts
Families must apply for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts before being considered for Summit Christian Academy Tuition Assistance. Visit the official TEFA website to review eligibility, program updates, and application information.
SCA Tuition Assistance
SCA Tuition Assistance is available to eligible families who do not receive TEFA funding. FACTS Management, an independent third-party financial assessment provider, evaluates each application and provides a financial-need recommendation to SCA.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for SCA Tuition Assistance, families must:
• Apply for TEFA first
• Complete enrollment or re-enrollment requirements
• Remain current on tuition and fees if already enrolled at SCA
• Complete the FACTS Tuition Assistance application by the published deadline
• Pay the required FACTS Tuition Application fee
• Submit all requested financial documents
• Reapply for SCA Tuition Assistance each school year
• Complete the volunteer service requirement if assistance is awarded
• SCA Tuition Assistance is not available for Pre-Kindergarten students.
How Awards Are Determined
The SCA Financial Committee considers:
• Available funding in the SCA Tuition Assistance budget
• The family’s demonstrated financial need
• Household income, assets, and qualified expenses
• The financial-need recommendation provided by FACTS
• The family’s commitment to Christian education
• The family’s TEFA eligibility and award status
Applying does not guarantee an award or the maximum available assistance.
Additional Information
Accepting an Award:
Award notifications will include an acceptance deadline. Families must acknowledge and return their award acceptance to the SCA Business Office before assistance can be applied to their tuition account. Awards not accepted by the stated deadline may be withdrawn and offered to another eligible family.
Volunteer Service Requirement:
Families receiving SCA Tuition Assistance must complete the volunteer service hours listed in their award letter. Failure to complete the required hours may affect eligibility for assistance in the following school year.
