Summit Christian Academy has students enrolled in two locations. The main campus, located in Cedar Park, has a Pre-K through 12th grade program. The Steiner Ranch location serves as an early childhood development center, enrolling children (2-4 years of age) in the Mother‘s Day Out Program.

Summit Christian Academy welcomes students from around the world to its campus in Cedar Park, Texas. We have hosted students from Korea, China, Cambodia, Canada, Argentina, and Romania. We help international students find housing in the form of “homestays” where students live with a Summit host family. Hosts provide accommodations and meals, as well as guidance, friendship, and assistance during the student’s tenure. Summit is registered with SEVIS, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System, and is authorized to issue I20’s to international students so that they may acquire an F-1 visa. International students must submit a bank verified financial statement as per the procedures listed below. We offer rolling admission, so there is no need to wait. Families are encouraged to submit their applications by December for the following school year. High/Intermediate School (6th through 12th Grades) International Student Requirements

  • High school international students may apply directly for admission by completing the new student application at There is a $150 application fee.
  • Provide results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for 9th through 12th grades (SCA #7983). Requirements: CBT score 173 or greater, IBT score 61 or greater, Paper and Pencil score 500 or greater. Additional testing may be necessary. If so, a non-refundable testing fee of $50 is required at the time of testing
  • An $800.00 international fee must be paid, as well as a one-time $500 non-refundable new student fee which is due upon student acceptance.
  • Provide proof of available funds to cover the cost of education (required for I-20).
  • Students must have completed the grade prior to the one in which they are applying.
  • Transcript translated into English and accompanied by a Certificate of Licensed Translation. The number grades must be recorded as letter grades as well (e.g., 96=A).
  • Copies of the most recent achievement test results (if applicable).
  • Birth certificate stating the day, month, year, and location of birth, translated into English.
  • Current immunization records, translated into English.
  • Current photo of the student.
  • A personal interview with the secondary principal at Summit is required. The student and the host or guardian must attend the interview to complete the enrollment process. I-20s will not be given prior to the interview. It may be possible to complete this step via Skype, if necessary.
  • An applicant will be notified of his/her acceptance into Summit.
  • Annual tuition must be paid in full when the student is accepted for admission.
  • Upon acceptance of admission and payment of tuition, an I-20 will be issued.
  • An athletic physical is required of students desiring to participate in sports.
