Get To Know Mrs. Lockhart

“I have been married to my husband Frank for 10 years. I have a bonus son, Malcolm, who is a freshman at Texas State University and a bonus daughter, Addison, who is a junior at Lago Vista High School. Frank and I have a son, Bruce, who is in the 2nd grade here. We attend The Journey Bible Fellowship where we serve on the Welcome Team each week. I host a weekly podcast called, Start Scared. We are currently building an investment/vacation home in Port O’Connor, Texas where we love to vacation at the beach as a family. I am also an avid reader, sometimes getting lost in the stories and the lives of the characters I meet.

Spending the 16 years teaching in public schools, I was not able to express my faith in class or if students mention theirs, having to redirect them to something else was hard and frankly, sad for me. But NOW, it is such a JOY to hear the students openly talk about their prayer journeys and discuss the role Jesus plays in their lives.”
