“I have taught math and engineering for more than 30 years. I enjoy reading. American history is my favorite topic. I also enjoy other genres from time to time. I like to landscape and do small construction projects.
I married my wife, Deann in 1991. Our son, James, is a senior at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. We attend GT Austin where I work in the children’s ministry and in drama.
Jesus is everything. He is the source of all the truth I endeavor to teach. He has a plan for each of my students and it is my hope that I can help prepare them for it, both academically and spiritually. Jesus is the source of the wisdom I need in working with students as I encourage them to do their work with excellence for him. My goal is for all students to develop their God-given aptitudes as they grow into His purposes for their lives. To the best of my ability, I hope students will come away with an idea of why what they have learned matters.”
