“My name is Amy VanLaningham, and I have been teaching for 22 years. I started my career in Clear Creek ISD teaching second and third grade. From there I taught third grade in LISD for nine years. More recently, I spent 13 years teaching Pre-K at a Christian preschool, First Foundations.
I graduated from the University of Houston at Clear Lake with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with specializations in reading and biology.
I am so excited to be teaching at Summit with Christ as the focus! I am blessed to share the love of Christ with my students and can’t imagine doing anything else!
My family and I attend Hill Country Bible Church where I have the joy of leading a small group of fantastic middle school girls. My husband and I also have two sweet girls of our own, Grace and Anna.”
