As a new school year begins, many parents ask the question: How do I know I’m choosing the right school for my child? At SCA we believe that the right school is one where your student will be challenged academically, grow spiritually and thrive socially.
From preschool through high school graduation, SCA offers more than just a strong academic program. We provide a Christ-centered environment where each child is known, challenged, and equipped for their unique calling. Here’s why families are choosing Summit Christian Academy:
A Community Rooted in Christian Values
Faith is at the heart of all we do. From classroom discussions to athletic competitions, biblical truth guides our teaching and decision-making. Our students are not just prepared for college; they’re prepared for life with a confident biblical worldview.
Individual Focus: Getting Students Excited About Who They Are
Summit believes that our academic, spiritual, athletic and fine arts programs should help students discover their God given attributes, interests and gifts. This approach enables our graduates to get in the driver seat and seek out those educational and experiential opportunities needed to reach their full potential. With intentionally small class sizes, our teachers are able to invest in the whole child academically, spiritually, and socially, providing personalized attention and meaningful relationships.
Academic Excellence and College Preparation
Summit’s College Counseling program provides annual individualized family conferences to help guide each student’s academic and career path. We are proud to maintain a 100% college acceptance rate, supported by 12 weeks of SAT and ACT preparation offered at no additional cost to families: a value worth hundreds of dollars. Our college connections open doors for our students, as seen when two students of the Class of 2025 earned scholarships to Hardin Simmons University, following a personal campus visit from the university’s president. A typical Summit graduate arrives at college with 3-36 college credit hours, producing significant financial savings for families. SCA Admin have also helped individual students receive scholarships.
Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
From a professionally-led fine arts program and competitive athletics to mission trips that impact communities around the world, students are encouraged to discover their passions and grow their leadership skills.
