This Tuesday and Wednesday, our teachers are taking time away from their classrooms to dive into professional development with National Board certified educator and keynote speaker, Daryl Williams Jr.
Daryl brings instructional insight and leadership skills built through years as a teacher, instructional coach, and current school administrator. Daryl has been named two-time Teacher of the Year, and earned advanced degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the University of North Carolina. His message centers on helping educators refine their craft and grow confidently in the work they do every day.
Summit Christian Academy teachers already set a high bar in instructional excellence, but what truly sets them apart is who they are in Christ. Their walk with the Lord shapes everything they do, from building relationships with students to guiding them toward becoming who God uniquely designed them to be.
This week’s sessions with Daryl Williams Jr. are about sharpening techniques and adopting innovative strategies while renewing our teachers’ sense of calling and joy. Our hope is that teachers will return to their classrooms refreshed and inspired to lead.
We’re grateful for these opportunities that help our teachers continue growing as life-long learners and mentors whose impact extends beyond the classroom. Please join us in praying for meaningful insights and renewed energy for each teacher during these in-service days.
