SCA Students Advance in ACSI International Math Competition

Summit Christian Academy > Academics > Elementary > SCA Students Advance in ACSI International Math Competition

Several Summit students have been putting their math skills to the test in the ACSI International Math Competition, a global contest designed to celebrate mathematical excellence in young students.

Over the past several weeks, our participants have been working through a series of exams that challenge both foundational knowledge and advanced problem-solving skills. We are proud to share that Viktor (7th), Macie (7th), and Mika (8th) have advanced to Level 2 of 3. Advancing to Level 2 is achieved by invitation only for students scoring in the top 30% of Level 1 competitors. While William (6th) did not advance Level 2, he finished in the top 50th percentile internationally.

Level 1 tests students’ core mathematical concepts and problem-solving ability. Students who advance to Level 2 face more complex challenges that require deeper understanding and reasoning skills. From there, only the highest performers will move on to Level 3, where elite students compete for the title of International Math Champion.

The International Math Competition not only sharpens academic ability but also encourages students to steward their God-given talents with excellence and purpose. We are incredibly proud of these students for pursuing excellence and representing Summit so well on an international stage. Good luck to Viktor, Macie, and Mika!
