This week, Summit Christian Academy’s junior class had the opportunity to spend a day touring Baylor University in Waco. Coordinated and led by College Guidance Counselor Mrs. Ten Brook, the trip gave students an up-close look at college life and the chance to envision what their next step after high school might look like.
The campus tour included stops at the Robbins College of Health & Human Sciences, the Baylor Bear Habitat, the Hankamer School of Business, and the Bill Daniel Student Center. Students also had the opportunity to eat lunch at the Penland Dining Hall with SCA alum Zach Creekmore.
For the juniors, this was a great chance to ask questions and consider what they might value in a future college. The day offered fun and insight, giving students a clearer sense of what they like (and don’t like) as they prepare for next steps after graduation.
At Summit, we believe every student is uniquely gifted by God. With our small class sizes, students benefit from personalized opportunities like this one, as they discover God’s plan for their future.
