“I was born and raised in Michigan ( The Great Lakes State) so I love any and all water activities. My family still lives there, so we love to go home to visit (especially during the hot summers in Texas). I’m a huge animal lover. I have a dog named Maple, a cat named Joey, and eight year old Goldfish named Goldie. I am also a huge Hallmark fan (movies, shows, stores, and merchandise, you name it) I am also a Hallmark KOC (Keepsake Ornament Club) member. I enjoy arts and crafts. I love spending time with my daughter Mia and my husband Charlie.
I love making learning fun and interesting for my students. Bringing real life experiences to the classroom is a blast. Whether it’s a “pop up” veterinarian clinic, grocery store (Pre K Mart), or a simulated space station (using a karaoke machine), seeing my students having fun while learning is one of the greatest joys I find as a teacher.
As a Christ follower, I am called to love everyone, the way Christ loves us. As a teacher, I enter the classroom with grace and wisdom from the Holy Spirit so that I can create an atmosphere that embodies the Fruits of the Spirit.”
