“My biggest hobby is generally being active! I love the game of soccer. I played in college and have coached and played recreationally since graduating. I also love being outdoors. My day hiking hobby has had to adjust since moving to Texas, but I am a fan of “nature walks” when I can get them in. Walnut Creek Park is a family favorite of ours. I also love journaling and notebooks- Hobonichi Cousin, anyone? Since having a daughter in 2021 I have enjoyed spending time with her, teaching her about nature and keeping her active, too.
I am a lifelong Christian. God’s grace and faithfulness are always front and center for me, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my faith with the students at Summit. I believe that God has a plan for each and every one of the students I work with, and I know that they all have been given talents and interests so that they can build God’s kingdom in a unique way in their communities. I view my work not only as helping students further their educational journey, but primarily discovering who God has made them to be and how education can assist them with living out His call upon their lives.”
