“My desire is to create an environment that will foster creativity within my students, and I work diligently to ensure that the students receive a well-rounded, faith-based art education. My passion is to aid in a transformation in the arts by enabling and instilling in young Christian artists a charge to use their God-given creative and artistic abilities to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to encourage them to be a strong “light” in the world’s art community by utilizing the power of high-quality meaningful artwork in all variety of traditional and modern mediums. The goal is for students to adopt art making and appreciation as an integral part of his or her life. As they build their confidence, skills, and knowledge, I pray they are encouraged to continue their artistic growth and apply it to their daily lives. My desire is to train up artists who will be empowered to change the world through their art and lives.
I am an artist through and through! My absolute favorite thing to do is to paint in the mountains. Being surrounded by God’s amazing creation and using the talents He has given me to worship Him with them.”
