On Friday, May 9th, Field Day 2025 brought laughter, excitement, and a whole lot of splashes to campus as Pre-K through 5th-grade students came together for a day of active fun and community spirit. The much-anticipated annual event transformed the school grounds into a colorful festival of movement and play, highlighting the values of fitness, teamwork, and joy.
Throughout the day, students rotated through a variety of engaging stations, each designed to keep bodies moving and spirits high. From water play and inflatables to competitive races and Olympic-style challenges, there was no shortage of energy or enthusiasm. Rhythm games added a musical twist to the action, while water-based activities provided a refreshing way to cool down under the spring sun.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the day took place at 10:30 AM in the quad: the sliming of Coach Jarrell. All classes gathered in eager anticipation as Coach J was ceremoniously doused in green slime, much to the delight of the crowd. This highlight was more than just a funny finale—it was the culmination of our February partnership with the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge. In recognition of their outstanding fundraising efforts, 25 students who each raised over $100 earned the honor of sliming Coach J. It was a perfect blend of philanthropy and fun, showcasing how community service can be both impactful and exciting.
Field Day 2025 was a true team effort, with enthusiastic support from students, staff, and a host of dedicated volunteers. The event not only celebrated physical fitness but also reinforced important values like sportsmanship, cooperation, and kindness. For many, it was a day filled with laughter, high-fives, and memories that will last long after the final station was completed.
