Deepening Walks with Christ through Discipleship Groups

Summit Christian Academy > Faith > Deepening Walks with Christ through Discipleship Groups

Summit Christian Academy’s vision to graduate empowered leaders who impact the world begins with students rooting their identity in Jesus Christ. To help foster this, Summit launches an Intentional Discipleship Program for secondary students each year. Along with Bible classes, Worldview Seminars, Chapel, and Impact Projects, this program equips and mobilizes students to live out their faith daily while embracing the unique way God has created them.

Discipleship Groups, separated by grade and gender, meet weekly on Fridays, while group chapel takes place on Wednesdays. This rhythm of large-group teaching and small-group discussion helps students learn, process, and apply God’s Word to their lives.

Led by teachers or leaders from the SCA parent community, groups will dig into the Deep Discipleship curriculum, whose discipleship pathway is to build meaningful relationships, share personal stories, ask intentional questions, make life applications, and hold students accountable.

Summit is committed to the continued development of our students’ faith and walk with the Lord, so that they can launch well and impact the world for Jesus Christ.
