11th Grade to Washington, D.C.

Praying on site … with insight!

Our 11th grade class is taking a mission/prayer-walking trip to Washington, D. C. Prayer-walking has been described as “praying on site with insight.”  We will be prayer walking Embassy Row praying for the nations represented by each Embassy. This trip will not only teach us how to better serve our nation’s leaders by supporting them in prayer, but it will also be an opportunity for us to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, their lives. This Junior class has been given the honor of laying a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery . We will be spending the weeks prior to this trip learning how to intercede for our nation and for those who serve our country.

“Pray for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” ~ 2 Tim 2:2
