ACT (www.act.org)
Information on the ACT exam. The site contains information and helps similar to those on the College Board site. Summit Christian Academy strongly encourages its students to take the ACT and SAT exams when entering the college preparation process.

CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE
To create a financial aid profile, visit
www.collegeboard.com. Click on “For Students” and then on the CSS/PROFILE link under “Pay for College”. Colleges, universities, and scholarship programs use the information collected on the PROFILE to help them award private grants and scholarship funds.

Note: The College Board does not award scholarship money or other financial aid.

FastWeb (www.fastweb.com)
FastWeb is a scholarship search engine that helps find scholarships for the student based on an individual profile. FastWeb is one of the largest sources of local, national, and college-specific scholarships. If you supply an email address, they will notify you when new awards that match your profile are added to the database. You can submit an electronic application to some of the scholarships listed in the FastWeb scholarship database, which can save you time and money. FastWeb also includes a college search and numerous other student resources.

Scholarship Resource Network Express (SRN) (www.srnexpress.com)
SRN Express is a search engine and database of private scholarships designed to assist students identify sources for undergraduate through postgraduate study. The award listings in the SRN database contains more detailed information than can be found in most scholarship databases and scholarship listing books.

FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov)
Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students and parents must complete the FAFSA as part of the application process for financial aid. You may complete a FAFSA application either via the web or on paper to apply for federal funding. To obtain a paper copy of the application, see the guidance counselor. Submit 2006-2007 FAFSA on the Web Applications by midnight Central Daylight time, July 2, 2007.
