Summit Christian Academy offers 5-day Pre-K classes on both its campuses.
Summit Christian Academy divides its Pre-Kindergarten curriculum into the core subjects of Language Arts, Math, Bible, Science, and Social Studies. Within these subjects, the format consists of studying one letter, one number, one shape, and one color each week.
SCA devotes the first two weeks of school to getting into a routine, getting to know each other, and showing students how to conduct themselves in the school environment. After this period, students begin their studies of numbers and letters. Within this framework, SCA uses many different activities to reinforce students' knowledge of not only letters and numbers, but also of books and literature in general.
As in all grades, Pre-K attends special classes: Music, Physical Education, Art, Computers, Library and Missions.
Students also say pledges to the United States flag, Christian flag, and the Bible. Pre-K students also attend chapel each Wednesday.
